Today is American Made Matters Day. It’s a time to focus on the importance of purchasing products made in the USA, made by American workers.

At L.J. Smith, we’re proud to say that most balusters, handrails, newel post and other products are crafted in America. For 135 years, L.J. Smith has been making hand-crafted stairway system parts in our locations throughout America.

Our company now has four manufacturing and distribution locations (in Bowerston, Ohio; Corona, Calif.; Ball Ground, Ga.; and Puyallup, Wash.). We also have two additional distribution facilities located in Salem, and West Valley City, Utah.

With more than 200 employees nationwide, L.J. Smith covers every state.
