Unique And Bright Staircases We Love
Traditional and modern staircases are beautiful, but what about the occasional unique staircase? Today, many staircases are designed with modern trends and neutral colors, but a few eccentric designers had other plans for their staircases. Take a look below for some of our favorite unique staircases that we have seen throughout the past year!
At Home With Ashley
Ashley Wilson was a Featured Designer during the Spring 2021 One Room Challenge, and in that challenge, she took on her already unique staircase. Ashley has always loved creating fun and colorful spaces, and her stairway was no exception to this.
Having already painted her stair risers a bright rainbow, she completely opened up the staircase during her 8-week project to allow for an unimpeded view of her stairs from the kitchen and dining room. Utilizing our Handrail, Balusters, Newel Post, and Decorative Stair Brackets, Ashley created an open staircase that would allow for an open concept space.
Rebecca DIY
Rebecca Propes with @rebeccadiy was a Featured Designer for the Fall One Room Challenge, and in those 8 short weeks, she decided to take on her stairway and entryway for this challenge. Using a lot of color and designs, her bright and fun style continued to shine through in her revealed space. Complete with bright colors and patterns, this space now has a life of its own and stands out in an amazing way. It is the first impression guests see when visiting her home, and she could not be more proud of how the newly designed space ties into the rest of her home.
